Had 24 species of warblers today in a fairly limited amount of time at the Crane Creek boardwalk:
Golden-winged (few males)
Tennessee (2)
Orange-crowned (1-2)
Nashville (several)
Northern Parula (2)
Yellow (common)
Chestnut-sided (common)
Magnolia (very common)
Cape May (1)
Black-throated Blue (males common, only one female)
Yellow-rumped (common)
Black-throated Green (few throughout)
Blackburnian (very cooperative males, one female)
Palm (my 24th warbler seen...only 2)
Bay-breasted (several males)
Black-and-white (fairly common)
American Redstart (common males, few females)
Ovenbird (few)
Northern Waterthrush (few)
Mourning (1 male)
Common Yellowthroat (common)
Hooded (1 male)
Wilson's (several)
Canada (1 male)
Common Nighthawk at the Ottawa Auto Tour. Also a couple of moorhens at Magee, while searching for (but striking out) on the King Rail. Really wish I could have spent more time on this bird. Other birders had better luck.
