This will be our last post for a while. We want to thank all the birders who gave us their bird lists on a daily basis like Bob & Sally from Michigan, & John Porter from Virginia. If you see birds at Magee Marsh in the future, please come into the Sportsmen's Migratory Bird Center and give us your bird & other wildlife lists each time and we will post them as soon as we can. Have a great summer everyone and again, thank you for visiting the Magee Marsh Wildlife Area near Oak Harbor, Ohio.
PS. The two Point Pelee Trips this spring were great. (Lake Erie was rough and wild). 100 species of birds were seen on the first trip and 86 species the next week. (Baltimore and Orchard Orioles were everywhere!)
Final note: Many birders have asked about the maroon colored flowers blooming around the walking trails. It's called Hound's Tongue.
