Magee birding on April 6

A brief birding trip midday at the boardwalk turned up a few of the usual songbirds.

Weather: Overcast, temps in the 40's, east winds at 5-10 mph.

Along the causeway:

American Coots xxx
Blue-winged Teal xi
Northern Shoveler xi
Tundra Swans x

Sounded like Swamp Sparrows singing along the causeway.

Along the boardwalk:

Eastern Phoebe x
Eastern Towhee x
Fox Sparrow xi
Brown Creeper x
Golden-crowned Kinglet xi
Rusty Blackbird xi
American Tree Sparrow x

A Rusty worked over a snail.
