BSBO Lunch Lecture Program

Posted to the Ohio listserv: "Come visit us at the BSBO Nature Center, this Saturday, May 20th, for our monthly Lunch Lecture Program. This month's topic is Spring Warbler Migration in the Lake Erie Marsh Region and our guest speaker is none other than Mark Shieldcastle."

"Mark has been investigating migration in the area for more than 20 years and there is perhaps no one who has a better understanding of how it all works. Mark will provide information on the timing of birds moving through the area, the effects of weather patterns on migrating birds, as well as explaining why this area is such a migrant trap in the first place. We'll conclude with a trip out to the boardwalk to see what all the excitement is about."

• Lunch begins at 12:30 and the program is from 1:00 - 2:00.
• Cost is $7.00 per BSBO member and $10.00 per nonmember.
