This morning I spotted approx 40 Snow Geese (~15 white) flying out of the west end of Ottawa NWR. They flew accross Rt 2 near Stange Rd and started circling over the field on the south side of Rt 2 just west of Stange Rd. They continued to circle lower as if going to land but I didn't stay to watch them put down. There did not appear to be any other geese in this field.
Lots of Tundra Swans still flying around near the lake too.
