<b>1.</b> - On April 14, a Hooded Warbler and Sora were <a href="http://www.rarebird.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1258&PN=1">observed</a> at Magee with Ruddy Ducks in Lake Erie.
<b>2.</b> - April 15 <a href="http://www.rarebird.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1265&PN=1">report</a> from the Toledo Naturalists board, which also includes photos:
<i>"Good numbers of both Yellowlegs, Pectoral Sandpiper, Dunlin, and Wilson's Snipe along Benton-Carroll Road. Also had 120+ Wilson's Snipe in Ottawa NWR. I also had a single Snowy Egret along the causeway at Crane Creek."
"Warblers - many Yellow-rumped, but singles of Palm, Northern Parula, and Louisianna Waterthrush along the boardwalk. Waterfowl - Good numbers of Gadwall everywhere, and a few Wigeon. I had lots of Ruddy Ducks off the beach."
"Misc. - I had one YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD along the causeway at Crane Creek at 7:00 a.m. Also had some Purple Martins at Maumee Bay."</i>
<b>3.</b> - An April 15 and 16 <A href="http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/OHIO.html#1145235316">report</a> from the listserv:
<i>Saturday
On the bird trail there were not a lot of numbers, but I did have a northern
parula, 2 pine warblers and a Louisiana waterthrush. There was a snowy
egret near the entrance at Magee Marsh
At the Mallard Club Marsh there were:
1 American bittern
1 CATTLE EGRET (on the north-south dike)
1 Green heron
1 EURASIAN WIGEON (with a large number of gadwall and about 20 American
wigeon)
1 LONG-TAILED DUCK (on Maumee Bay)
10,000+ scaup (also on Maumee Bay, also I did have a small number of greater
scaup mixed in)
4-5 Virginia rails (scattered through the marsh)
7-8 Sora (scattered through the marsh)
Sunday
There were two snowy egrets at the entrance to Magee Marsh. The bird trail
was slower today than yesterday. I did have a pine warbler and a
black-throated green warbler.
At Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge the impoundment furthest north from the
parking lot has a lot of mudflat. I had 5 SNOWY EGRETS, 1 LITTLE BLUE
HERON, and the following shorebirds: greater and lesser yellowlegs,
pectoral, least and semipalmated sandpipers, and common snipe.</i>
