A brief mid-morning visit to the boardwalk. Activity was good early. Myrtles and White-throated Sparrows were more numerous than the day before, but overall, variety seemed less than on April 30. White-crowned Sparrows showed up.

Weather at 9:00 a.m.: cloudy, intermittent showers ealier, temps 55-60, light winds from the E-SE. Winds later in the morning, however, dramatically increased in speed.
