Article source for : Magee birding 3-May-2006
At least 18 species of warblers present at the boardwalk. After a cloudy and damp start around sunrise, skies cleared, and temps warmed from the mid-50's in the morning to the low 70's by afternoon with lots of sunshine. Good numbers of the Myrtle Warbler, White-throated Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow, and Black-and-white Warbler. A nice flock of Chipping Sparrows in the west corner of the parking lot.
