Article source for : Magee birding 4-May-2006
First big day of the spring at Magee for the number of warbler species with 29 species being observed if you break out the Brewster's as a separate bird. Had to sort through a bunch of Myrtles and Palms.
The weather by late morning was partly cloudy, temps around 60 with southwest winds at 10-15 mph.
I first stopped at the north end of the causeway and birded the Magee Marsh beach trail for about an hour or so.
